Website material is provided for general information. It describes our approach and offers practical commentary on workplace investigations, but it is not legal, employment, regulatory, clinical or other professional advice.

Every workplace matter depends on its own facts, policies, contractual framework and applicable law. You should obtain appropriately qualified advice before acting or refraining from acting in reliance on website content.

Submitting an enquiry does not appoint Clear State and does not create a client, fiduciary or advisory relationship. We are appointed only when authorised representatives have agreed written engagement terms.

Those terms will normally define the commissioning client, investigator, conflicts process, terms of reference, deliverables, fees, timing, confidentiality, data-protection roles, permitted use of reports, termination and liability. If these website terms conflict with a signed engagement, the signed engagement will prevail for commissioned services.

Clear State provides independent fact-finding and investigation services. Unless expressly agreed through an appropriately regulated professional, we do not provide legal advice and are not the organisation’s decision-maker. The commissioning organisation remains responsible for decisions arising from the findings.

We treat initial enquiries with discretion, but website forms and ordinary email should not be used to send witness statements, detailed allegations, medical information, investigation evidence or other highly sensitive material. Use the form for a brief outline only.

Sending information does not prevent us from acting for another organisation unless and until an engagement or specific confidentiality arrangement is agreed. We may retain limited enquiry information to manage conflicts and professional risk in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Unless stated otherwise, Clear State owns or is licensed to use the copyright, trade marks, design elements, text, graphics and other content on this website.
